A Manual Juicer Is Still A Great Idea

in Small Appliances

The television and Internet are plastered with advertisements for the latest and greatest electric juicers, and talk about the power, and productivity their products provide when trying continue down the path of your healthy lifestyle. Some even proclaim that for three easy payments of forty-nine dollars you will enjoy an invigorating life that you only dreamed of before owning their product. Folks these claims have been made on different products for many years. This is what they call “selling snake oil”, and their job is to get desperate people with discretionary funds to buy into their commercialized propaganda. A manual juicer for one person in a household that wants to derive the fresh nutrients from oranges, and apples will work just fine.

It may take a little longer, but if you are not sure that this is going to be a permanent part of your everyday life, then it is best to go with the most inexpensive route for testing purposes in the beginning. Granted you are not going to be able to create juice form broccoli, carrots, and celery with a hand operate citrus juicer, but for about fifty dollars you can purchase one that mounts on your counter top like an old fashioned sausage or meat grinder to extract the juice of any fruit or vegetable.

A company named Amco makes a commercial manual juicer to facilitate your morning nutrient enriched beverages, and they will run about one hundred and forty dollars, It is a very heavy duty piece of equipment and will last practically forever. People do like the speed of an electric juicer, but again if it is just one person using the device in the home, a manually operated version should do well.

Even if you just want the best possible fresh squeezed citrus juice then buying a manual juicer with a screw on jar attachment will still give you loads of vitamins and the nutritional by-products you need to power your day. Sometimes we put more into the technology of a healthy living practice than what is needed. This is one of those times where spending ten bucks and getting the same or similar result just makes more sense to most people trying their best to keep fit and live longer. If you need to take it up a notch and buy an appliance type juicer, then always go for the auger style, as they extract the most health benefit from anything that is processed through the machine.
