Culinary schools require a HS diploma, and are very demanding in the quality of your work, but there is a large demand for bakers and therefore they do accept many potential candidates. When you complete the program which can be as short as one year or as long as four, you will receive your certification. Sometimes an internship in a bakery shop or restaurant is required before graduation.
