Changes in Indoor Tanning Lotions

in Skin Care

There are ways to purchase discount indoor tanning lotions without having to buy such huge quantities. It is easy to find almost any product at wholesale prices if you buy in bulk but usually the numbers of items to buy are so high that it doesn’t make sense for an individual consumer. However, ample research will reveal that there are in fact wholesale distribution channels that will sell to the public at retail quantities. This is a great way to save a lot of money for those who plan on tanning regularly and will go through a lot of product. Just keep in mind that tanning lotion does have expiration dates so you do not stock up more than you can use.

For many makers of tanning lotion to keep their product relevant to the public without lowering their prices is to provide more value by improving or adding to their formula. Some improvements, especially to top indoor tanning lotions, are things such as scent and texture that are meant to increase the user’s experience. Many people see tanning as a soothing activity so many new lotions offer scents that match different moods. Some have even taken things as far as to implement principles of aromatherapy in the way their products are scented.

More practical ways that these improved formulas provide value, to the user, is by providing better hydration to the skin as well as protection against UV radiation damage  in many introductory products. Lotions that are geared toward advanced tanners tend to lack the protection since their oils and other chemicals are actually designed to magnify the effects of ultraviolet radiation to speed up the rate of tanning. Some are more effective than others but the bottom line is to experiment and find out what works best for you. In many cases, people should stick to basic tanning lotions and leave the advanced stuff for people who already have developed a tan so they are more resistant to any potential problems caused by the magnified effects of UV radiation.
