The Benefits Of Fresh Juice

in Small Appliances,Vitamins and Supplements

Many people are recognising the benefits of drinking fruit and vegetable juices, to supplement their diets naturally. Although you can buy many artificial supplements which can work quite well, nothing is as good as the real thing. In this case, the real thing is natural nutrients, living enzymes, and real raw fibre. These things are all great for keeping your body in top condition, and flushing out toxins so that you can stay at the peak of your health and fitness.

If you are looking at investing in a juicer machine, there are many choices open to you. You can spend as little or as much as you want, and below are some of the different kinds of machines you may want to consider.

The most common type juicer is known as a centrifugal juicer, and you will find these machines in your local department store ranging in price from between $50 to about $200. There is nothing particularly wrong with these juicers, the only thing is that the high-speed processing system they use tends to cause juice quality to deteriorate. Having said that, they are excellent value for money. Many of them will make a glass juice in about 20 seconds, and they process most ingredients fairly well.

The other type of juicer machine, slightly less common, is known as a masticating juicer. You might not have seen or heard of these machines before, but basically they use a slow speed mechanism to physically crush the liquid from ingredients rather than shred them like centrifugal juicers do. The advantage of doing this is that the juice is not heated, and does not get aerated, and thus the quality is not affected. Masticating juicers are more expensive, but they make the best quality juice. If you want to juice vegetables in particular, a masticating juicer such as the famous Angel juicer makes a fantastic celery, kale or carrot juicer.

Between the two, most people will probably opt for the first choice, that is the centrifugal juicer. This is understandable, because the purchase cost is a lot lower. However, if you can spare the extra dollars, is definitely worthwhile going for a masticating juicer instead. In the end, your body will benefit a lot more from the juice you make, and this will result in better long-term health.
