Initially people are encouraged to eat foods that they enjoy eating, yet they are instructed to eat them less frequently and in smaller amounts. The next step in the program teaches people how they can increase their metabolic rate and become more energetic, which in turn helps them to burn more calories. Finally dieters are taught how to balance their lives in a way that they are able to fit in a regular exercise and enjoy a healthy diet.
