The Truth About the HCG Drops Diet

If you are trying to lose weight, then you have probably looked into many different options, including the hcg detox drops diet. Depending on how much research you have done, you may think it is a miracle weight loss drug, or you may think it is a scam. Regardless of what side of the spectrum you are on, it helps to get the facts. The hcg diet is neither a weight loss miracle nor a scam. It does work but it isn’t as easy as advertised.

Many advertisers claim that using the hcg diet you will cause you to lose weight without any work. No exercise! While this is true, it is slightly misleading. To effectively and safely lose weight with homeopathic hcg drops, you must reduce your daily calorie intake to 500. HCG is a hormone that causes your body to target stored fat to compensate for the lack of calories you are eating. Without the hcg hormone, you risk burning good fat and muscle, which isn’t good. So while you aren’t working out, you are on a very strict diet. Five-hundred calories a day of food is tough! The hcg will help a little, but it takes some getting used to. The first few days will be very rough, and you will find yourself thinking maybe exercise is a better route. After the first few days, your body will start to adjust and you will see the pounds shed.

Using the hcg diet can be very rewarding, but if you start the diet thinking it will be easy, you will be disappointed and discouraged. As with any diet, you should consider the pros and cons and if you encounter any health problems, discontinue use, and see a doctor. If you follow the protocol of the hcg diet, you should find yourself a month later looking sexier than ever!
