The CEO of Meta company, Mark Zuckerberg, in his latest Facebook post, unveiled the latest update for Whatsapp. In the post, he demonstrated this feature via a short video, showcasing how users can use it easily. The process of recording real-time video messages is similar to as of recording real-time voice messages. Due to this feature, an additional video recorder icon will be incorporated next to the text box. It will allow users to create concise videos of a duration of up to 60 seconds.
Whatsapp company also issued comprehensive information regarding the latest update in an official blog post. According to this instant messaging app platform, this new feature will allow users to make video messages, by adding a personalized touch to various occasions such as birthday wishes, sharing good news, or transferring any important information.
As per the blog post, the new video messaging feature is moderately being rolled out to users worldwide on both the Android and iOs platforms. To use this feature manually, users can download the latest version of WhatsApp from the App Store or Google Play Store. Also, the company affirms that these instant video messages will be fully end-to-end encrypted for ensuring secure communication.
How can you send the Video Message?
The process of sending a video message is the same to as sending a voice message. Through a single tap, users can switch from voice to video mode. The user will have to hold to record the video to create and then share the message. Also, if you want to lock the recording, you will have to swipe up to do so. When recipients open the message in a chat, the video will start playing automatically without sound. Although, by tapping on the video, you can activate the sound.
